Biography

Ver Joseff is a short film director, screenwriter and film critic. He has created two short films, Slipaway (2020) and Transfiguration (2021). Born in Cebu City, Philippines, Ver moved to the United States with his family in 2016. He studies film at Loyola University New Orleans, where he also works as reviews editor for its official student newspaper The Maroon. Ver's cinematic influences include Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsese, Ingmar Bergman, Andrei Tarkovsky, Bong Joon Ho, and Yorgos Lanthimos.
