Biography

Jack Henry Calverley is a pillar of the Mount Pleasant Michigan independent film scene. Hailing from Riverdale Michigan, he is the proprietor of ALRIGHT/BRAINLESS PRODUCTIONS (2019), which produced many independent films, the final of which being Calverley's directorial debut MOUNT PLEASANT (2023). Going to school at Central Michigan University, Jack honed his skills in the Broadcast/Cinematic arts department. He’s worked on many professional and personal projects related to his coursework. Musically, Jack was the founder and leading member of the noise rock outfit TV VIOLENCE (2019-2021) and currently is the co-founder and member of the noise/industrial/shoegaze/emo band BEAMS with co-founder Dietrich Mueller. -Diamond Neph
