Army of the Dead, directed by Zach Schneider, has received good on-demand volume after landing on Netflix. As a result, Netflix took advantage of the heat and signed a two-year first priority cooperation contract with Zach Schneider. Based on the content of the contract, Zha Dao will shoot the sequel of Army of the Dead under the banner of Netflix.

According to Zha's work arrangement, before shooting Army of the Dead 2, he will direct a film called Rebel Moon under Netflix. The story of the film takes place in a colony on the edge of the galaxy. The colony is threatened by a barbarian army named Balisarius one day. The desperate people sent a young woman with a mysterious past to seek help from the warriors on the neighboring planet. It is reported that the film will be greatly influenced by the "Star Wars" series and Kurosawa Akira. Director Zha said: "I am a fan of Akira Kurosawa and a fan of Star Wars. This work is my passion for science fiction and adventure movies. I hope this movie can also become a famous IP and open it. A whole new cinematic universe."

The story of Army of the Dead 2 is currently unknown. However, the story of the Army of the Dead is unfinished. Under the choreography of Zach Schneider, the zombies in the film are not as disgusting as zombies in the traditional sense, but have a hint of pity. This film is Zha Dao's contact with the theme of zombies again since Dawn of the Living Dead in 2004. The project was established as early as 2007, and the original director was "The Prequel to the Weird" by Maschith Van Harkinnigan Jr. After years of delay, Netflix took over the project from Warner. For Army of the Dead, Netflix already has a huge sequel and rumor plan. Netflix has been planning to shoot a series of pre-transmission paintings about Batista playing Scott early on, and the director will personally direct two episodes. The prequel story about the locksmith played by Matthias Schwehof will be available on Netflix on July 25th.
