Liang Peishi is a Chinese actor born in Scotland. He was only 16 years old when he appeared in the movie. The 33-year-old recalled that she had not received media training before being interviewed and tried to discuss this issue with public relations staff. She said: "I remember they said to me,'Oh, Katie, we haven't seen these, these websites that people talk about. You know, if someone asks you, you just say it's not true, just say it never happened .'"
The report pointed out that it is unclear whether these public relations staff work for Liang Peishi or the film producer Warner Bros. Warner Bros. did not immediately respond to NBC News' request for comment.
Liang Peishi explained that she found a website dedicated to protesting her playing this role, and saw that many people did not want her to play this role.
