By Chilimovie - 20 June 2025

Fans of Hazbin Hotel have been eagerly awaiting the return of Prime Video's hit animated series, and it looks like the wait is almost over.

When Will Hazbin Hotel Season 2 Be Released?

While Hazbin Hotel season 2 doesn't have an official release date yet, it's widely expected to premiere in late 2025. The good news? The wait won't be nearly as long as it was between the pilot and the first season. Creator Vivienne Medrano has reassured fans that production is moving along and that the second season is progressing on a standard animation timeline—likely around 1.5 to 2 years of development.

Season 2 was confirmed as early as September 2023 when Prime Video announced a two-season order. Later, at San Diego Comic-Con 2024, the show was also renewed for a third and fourth season, solidifying its future for the long term.

Production Update

Voice recording for season 2 began in January 2024, with cast members already back in the studio. Though there’s no trailer yet, a behind-the-scenes clip featuring lead voice actress Erika Henningsen (Charlie) has been shared, offering fans a first glimpse into the upcoming season’s tone.

Hazbin Hotel Season 2 Cast: Who's Returning?
