Lucifer is a fantasy that started out unrecognized but is now emerging as an alternative classic. Talk of a sequel has been going on and on for more than a decade, but so far nothing has materialized.
There's been a lot of talk about new Versions of Lucifer and Justice League Dark, because Warner Bros. recently confirmed a Justice League Dark series, Lucifer Constantine is also rumored to be in the works for warner Bros. 'streaming service HBO Max, and recently, Former Lucifer director Francis Lawrence has also been involved in discussions about the new Lucifer project. In a recent interview, he spoke to the press about the possibility of Lucifer2.
He said that he, lead actor Keanu Reeves, and producer aziva gossman were eager to make a sequel because they all loved the first film. In fact, they had already worked on "Lucifer2" and he had recently talked to lead actor Keanu Reeves about the project. The first film was successful enough, and now he wants to do a less expensive, but larger, pure R-rated sequel. Everyone is familiar with The works of Francis Lawrence. He has shot many commercial blockbusters with personality, including Lucifer, I Am Legend starring Will Smith and The Hunger Games series. It would certainly be exciting to have him back for the sequel, after all, it's clear from his words that he actually wants to make the genre into a bigger r-rated film, and it's clear that the hero certainly fits into a more free-for-all.
