Michaela Coel joins Black Panther 2

Marvel's "Black Panther 2" has confirmed a new cast. Ghanaian-born actress Michaela Coel is said to have joined the cast. No word yet on what role Michaela Coel will play in the film.

Michaela Coelwas born on October 1, 1987 in Ghana. By early childhood she was already a poet and performing artist. She then attended The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. He started his acting career after graduation. A versatile entertainer, Michaela Coel works as a writer, director, producer and singer on the cast. She is best known for writing and starring in the E4 sitcom Chewing Gum, for which she won the BAFTA Award for Best Female Comedy Performance. In 2020, she was named one of time magazine's 100 most influential people in the world.

"Black Panther 2" is currently filming in Atlanta, and the storyline has yet to be revealed. A gap of 2-3 years between films is a standard interval at Marvel these days.

Director Ryan Coogler is set to return long after "Black Panther" ended. Black Panther is considered one of the best commercial movies of all time. Marvel is even gearing up for a best Picture Oscar run. At the time of its release, the film was a worldwide commercial success and was widely recognized by word of mouth as one of the milestones of black cinema. As planned, Black Panther 2 is set for release on July 8, 2022.
