The protagonist is intelligent, optimistic in nature and strong in hands-on ability. In such a difficult environment, he found a refuge for himself and arranged it into a warm "home" with limited resources. Just like the name of the movie: The Island on Bird Street, his temporary home really looks like a small island floating in the quarantine area, and it is also the paradise in the eyes of the protagonist.
Just like another more famous movie "Life is Beautiful", "The Island on Bird Street" is about the beautiful, kind and innocent side of human nature. Even in extremely dangerous and difficult circumstances, human nature can bloom soft flowers. These beautiful and pure qualities are the qualities that people need to take care of.
