Why suicide Squad 2 doesn't have Deadshot?

This movie, it's going to bring back a lot of actors. Among them is Harley Quinn, played by Margot Robbie. Missing from the list of returning actors, however, is Will Smith's Deadshot. Finally, with the film's release date looming, the producers of Suicide Squad 2 have explained what happened to keep Will Smith out of the movie.

In David Ayer's version of Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn and Deadshot are the two most important characters in the film. That's why fans were disappointed when they learned that Will Smith wouldn't be appearing in Suicide Squad 2. Peter Safran, the producer of "Suicide Squad 2," explained Will Smith's absence while promoting the upcoming film.

Peter Safran: We discussed it, but it was... I think the 'Will' of it all was really more of a schedule thing than anything else. We knew we had to start shooting in September because, frankly, we knew probably earlier than other people did that James was going to come back and do Guardians. So it was really important that we started shooting when we started shooting, and Will wasn't available. That kind of made it easier all around: what are you going to do? He's not available. So it's also nice to, frankly, help separate it from the first movie, I think, in a greater fashion.

Will Smith is a very busy star, so he is very popular in Hollywood. Due to scheduling conflicts, he was unable to appear in the Suicide Squad 2 movie. This forced producers to change the plot of the story and introduce new characters, such as the one played by Idris Elba.

It's worth mentioning that producer Peter Safran shared with us what it was like to make Suicide Squad 2. We've seen the crazy trailer for Suicide Squad 2, but there's a lot going on behind the scenes. Sometimes, producers run into things they can't control, like the actors' schedules, which can lead to dramatic changes in the movie's story. In addition to Smith, the producer said he knew the Suicide Squad 2 director would still be returning to Marvel, so he had to make a decision soon.

Just because Will Smith didn't play Deadshot in Suicide Squad 2 doesn't mean deadshot won't appear in other DC movies. So, I think if Suicide Squad 2 does well at the box office, hopefully there will be a sequel. Hopefully, we'll see the handsome Deadshot again in the sequel. Of course, I was hoping That Halle Quinn in Suicide Squad 2 would tell us something about deadshot in the DC Universe.
