Surprisingly incoherent and boring
hyped garbage
The film was still a fun one that will make you laugh and have you leaving the theater feeling like you just stole something valuable and got away with it.
View MoreThe film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
View MoreMichael Haneke is one of the best film-makers working today and he really deserves a great documentary on him. Which really shouldn't be difficult, he's an incredibly smart guy who clearly knows a lot about what he does. However, '24 Realities per Second' really isn't even a documentary. It's just people with a camera following him around, recording him doing generic interviews and just generally pestering him and that's it. If you're going to do a documentary it helps if you have an actual premise. You cannot just film someone walking around and then say "It's a documentary". I would have preferred if they actually asked him goddamn questions and maybe they could have interviewed other cast members about Haneke and their experiences working with him too? This is a pretty amateur piece, watch it for Haneke but you're not missing anything if you skip it.
