Yann and Rose meet on a skiing run. Not only do they meet, they almost crush one another. From that moment on, they become inseparable. As they move together, the couple fulfill their wish to live as a couple without having to get married. Complications arise when Yann and Rose want to produce a child. It is almost impossible for Rose to conceive, however hard she tries. After much visits to doctors, they enroll in a class given by a well known expert in the matter. Rose begins a series of procedures to get her ready, while Yann does another set of steps. At the class, they meet another couple, Lili, and Franck, who are older. The new friends have tried different approaches, but nothing comes out of it. Lili and Franck have an idea as to how to put in practice their own plan, which backfires with Yann and Rose. Ultimately, they are blessed when Rose gets pregnant.Directed by Bernard Jeanjean who contributed to the screenplay with Martine Fontaine, this French comedy aims to amuse the audience. There are some important questions also raised by its creators who take a look at the frustrations the couple encounter to complete their happiness. These would be parents have everything going for them. It is hard to accept the disappointment when all they do bear no fruit.Clovis Cornillac and Olivia Bonamy are seen as Yann and Rose. Mr. Cornillac does a wonderful take with his Yann. He is becoming a force in the French cinema. Ms. Bonamy is pleasant to look at, complimenting her co-star. There are two other performances that enhance the film and give it an edge, Marianne Denicourt and Francois Vincentelly appear as Lili and Franck in a nice turn.
