How sad is this?

Doomtomylo

a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.

There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

Iam a big fan of Gregory Harrison and this is his best film. This film is not to be taken too seriously as some of the emotional scenes seem a bit slapstick however the story is good and Harrison's protrayal of obsessed Robert Kenzer is very realistic. Kenzer has a relationship with Sharon Blake which turns sour after Sharon finds out what sort of man he is. He is unable to cope with the breakup and his obsessive compulsive behaviour starts to cause problems for Sharon and her everyday life. A very good realistic thriller.

This TV movie kept me going till the final lame shot, which concluded which such a contrived, impossible situation, that everything that came before was ruined. This had one of those laughable, Jason-just-popped-back-out-of-the-lake-after-being-shot-fifty-times taglines. At least we get to watch a couple of studs fight over Connie.

Connie Sellecca portrays Sharon Blake a beautiful, talented lady in her 30's now wanting some love in her life. At a friend's party she meets a real estate agent named Robert Kenzer portrayed by Gregory Harrison. They go out, have dinner and on the next date they get intimate. He sends her yellow roses, buys expensive dinners and life seems to be perfect with him, but when she finds out that he is broke he almost hits her as he feels cornered by her suggestions, but he starts to say he is sorry and all is forgiven until she opens the trunk of his car and finds a picture drawn by his son. He tells her that he had an ex wife and a son, but before giving him a chance to explain she breaks up with him and runs off.He gets paranoid that she left him and follows her, calls her and basically makes it impossible for her. We later on in the film get to know Robert and about his background. Apparently his mother used to beat him and his brother so therefore violence was the only way he knew how to control someone. Sharon's friend contacts a private investigator to help keep Robert away, but things don't turn out the way she expected them to. Gregory was again brilliant in this thriller as Robert, who REALLY needed a trip or two to the shrinks office for his childhood trauma. I think the moral in this story would be if you think violence solves things you are one step away from the nut house and that if you are to get involved with a stranger, take your time, get to know the person before making any sorts of commitment. Oh yes and a message for the parents who beat their kids, find other ways for punishment people! I'd definitely recommend this movie for the Greg Harrison fans. He was just so adorable..even as a psycho..

I remember this TV movie from years back and I just watched it again yesterday on Lifetime. A, Dangerous Affair is maybe the best work of Connie Sellecca she stars as a beautiful and successful executive who starts a passionate romance with a man (Gregory Harrison) she just meets only to later learn the secret that he has a child. The romance is broken off due to the lack of honesty then the stalking and disturbances begin. This movie proves a point that being it pays to check the past out of a person while your involved with them and also it will make you think twice before you start a relationship quickly especially with an unknown individual. So check this movie out sometime it is probably the best acting the beautiful Connie Sellecca has done.
