The Worst Film Ever

Glimmerubro

It is not deep, but it is fun to watch. It does have a bit more of an edge to it than other similar films.

This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

The film may be flawed, but its message is not.

Inane film with some not very good acting, especially by the parents of the girl in question.A business woman who has had difficult relationships is told by a seer that unless she is engaged by spring, she will never marry. This causes our heroine to reevaluate her life and talk to former boyfriends to determine why they dropped her. Apparently, all question her commitment to a commitment and felt she was incapable of pursuing this. This leads her to reunite with the last guy who had dumped her, until she realizes that the boss of the company she works for is finally the man for her.

If one word could describe this movie it is "cute". The star (Rachel Boston) is cute. Her co-stars are cute. The actors playing her parents are cute. The plot is cute. Stefanie Powers isn't "cute"; she surpasses mere cuteness and moves into a realm of glamor that is all her own.Boston plays a successful business consultant who has never been particularly interested in being married. She receives a reading from an exotic medium (Powers) who tells her, "You will receive a ring by spring...or you will never marry." This followed by a break-up with her long-term boyfriend starts her on a voyage of self-discovery that is perplexedly observed by her friends, her parents, her ex-boyfriends and Tom, the good-natured CEO of the company she is currently working for.Boston is charming as the young woman entertaining questions of romantic destiny and Powers' small but pivotal role as the mysterious Madame Rue rounds out the attractive cast. Really, it's a slight film but perfectly entertaining.
