Boring
Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
View MoreOne of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.
View MoreIt is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film
View MoreI am so happy that I watched this movie because it definitely succeeded in its mission and made me happy. As a Youtube fan and watching the popularity of this platform expand so much over the past few years, I was so proud to see someone as motivated, talented and loving as Lilly be a voice for the digital world that making a career online is possible. Even besides that, Lilly has not only inspired her viewers but so many people across the world and this documentary showing her endless efforts is more than enough for anyone to root for her. She had me smiling the entire movie even when things were looking bleak on tour and I have no idea how she was able to handle all the hassle but she isn't called Superwoman for nothing. I think we can all agree that after watching this documentary, Lilly has shown proof of what you can achieve if you dig deep and fight for your happiness. This documentary helped me find my unicorn island and I hope it does the same for others.
View MoreHorrible film, this woman needs to quit what she does. Pointless and embarrassing to humankind. I've never seen a film so worthless and stupid. I wasted about an hour and a half of my life that I will never get back. This woman fails miserably at making a point about depression. Very repetitive. She also cannot rap at all. She thinks she is all cool but she isn't. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I literally am angry that I wasted my time on this film. Content was so lame an everybody who helped make this garbage should be sent to a horrible place. I hope to god that this woman never thinks about making another documentary. And if she really wants to spread happiness and love or whatever I don't know why she is having people pay to subscribe to YouTube red to watch it. All just about the money.
View MoreI've only been a fan of Lilly as of recent, only a year ago I really got hooked on her videos and went through her channel like candy. When she announced her world tour last summer, I was stoked and simply had to go to the Anaheim venue, her last location. My experience was a two hour drive and I was well on time for the meet and greet. Meeting her was great, I did my best to spit the nervous words I've been wanting to tell her from the moment I bought my tickets. It's worth it, really, making a conversation with somebody you're meeting who is famous-- because you get more than a selfie out of the situation and it's a win-win for both. In her movie where she explains this, is right on the spot. She too, is a person. I made the silly mistake of only buying the meet-and-greet tickets, (When I called and asked about the package, they said it covered the show AND the meet and greet!) So I didn't actually get to experience the show. My sister had to pick me up after the meet and greet (Which was still VERY worth the drive.) :( Though I'm not blaming that on Lilly, I blame it on myself and my misreading. Finally, I watched the movie. It was beautiful and I feel like I got more experience from watching it than if I got to also attend the full show. It gives you full background and the amount of work she put into making this tour happen so she could impact us and make us feel amazing. The movie gave the same exact effect and it definitely drew some tears through her motivational and true words. Her making this documentary along with the movie was a fantastic idea and I recommend it to everyone who likes Lilly or wants their day brightened at least a little. If you ever feel stuck or lost, this movie will shove you back onto the right track. Overall, the movie was just as well done and thoughtfully put together as the tour. Beautiful. Lilly, I thank you. As a fan and as a friend I thank you for all you've done for us.
