Excellent, a Must See

n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.

While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama

As a fan of horrible movies, this movie certainly lives up to it's rating. This movie was disgustingly cliché and awful. My sympathy goes out to the guy who played "Lucky" the Leprechaun. Nearly every moment of this moment was cliché and just utterly ridiculous. We rented it because of it's horrible IMDb rating and it certainly lived up to expectations. There are some hilarious moments in this movie, but overall it was a nonsensical adventure. I also loved the fact that the awful Mayor was named "McGreedy" and that the Leprechaun's name was "Lucky." The ending makes zero sense and left us with so many questions. Chief amongst those questions was "why" and "how was this movie made." The ending proves to be a dream sequence, but not a dream? I still have no idea what was going on there. It literally made no sense at all. I would definitely recommend this movie for people who want a good laugh.

Oh dear god. I could not help but laugh at almost every scene. I felt bad because my cousin, who loves the movie, but is also mentally challenged, was getting rather angry at my uncontrollable laughter. It seems that every single person in this town, except for the leprechaun and the old man (Who seems to be a pedophile) is out to get this girl. The plot does not make sense. I could go on and on tearing apart this atrocious plot, but I have a life, and would like to not sit here for all eternity being a bully. The actress is horrendous ! Beyond horrible ! Kid actors are normally unpleasant, but not like this. Oh, and the leprechaun was the worst. It was without a doubt the worst movie ever made. I always ask myself after watching a movie like this, "who funds these horrible films ?"

Howard (Tim Matheson) is a less than successful writer, whose books are of the how-to variety. His wife is deceased and he is a single father to Molly, a lively ten year old. When they inherit an large old mansion in Ireland, Howard is thankful, since his former house was about to be sold out from under him. Molly is less than enthusiastic, however, until she discovers a leprechaun on the property! Yet, this leprechaun doesn't seem to have much magic and does not help her out of bad situations at school or at home. Howard, in the meanwhile, has a new love interest. Will Molly find any happiness on the Emerald Isle? This sweet little story features a wonderful performance by Warwick Davis as the lovable but flawed leprechaun. The other stars are also charming and, of course, the scenery is of the put-your-eye-out type. The ending is a total delight. For those who are always anxious to find good films for the whole family to enjoy, you are going to be in luck if you find this one at the video store or library.

A pretty unexciting story about an American father and daughter who move into a house they inherited in Ireland. Problems are abound as the home is inhabited by an unlucky leprechaun, Lucky. Things are going bad from the start. They find out that $13,000 is owed on the house and they are likely to lose it...Molly is having problems at school. I bet without even seeing it, you can imagine how this one turns out. It's not awful, but I think most will find it a little hard to sit through. Save this one for the wee-est in the clan, as they might be well enough amused. <br>** (Out of 4)
