Dreadfully Boring
Blending excellent reporting and strong storytelling, this is a disturbing film truly stranger than fiction
View MoreThis is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
View MoreThis is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
View MoreThis is, by far, the worst movie I've ever experienced in my whole life. This pile of scum called The Search for Pillow is the most godawful disgrace in human existence! Probably out of all the Lalaloopsy movies I've watched and find intolerable! The characters lack chemistry, Pillow would be most better off in a deep sleep (rather than constantly waking up and then falling back to sleep as a foremost reminder that she's part of the movie), the soundtrack and sound mixing is dreadful at times and the whole movie feels sluggish.Little kids would definitely adore this movie, but if you're older than them - avoid this at all costs. There's more horrid movies like this!
View MoreWarning: This review might contain spoilers. This story is where the dolls search for Pillow, who goes missing. Sure the youngest viewers are going to enjoy it but older viewers are going to be "tortured" by this movie.Let's start by Pillow playing catch with Bea. She didn't catch the ball, so she had to search for the ball. She decides to slack off, and catch the ball later. Then, Peanut says that she's going to announce her surprise at sunset. Then the dolls realize that Pillow's missing. WHY DOESN'T THE DOLLS GO ON THE SAME WAY PILLOW DID GO?! There are many slow points. So, they go on different ways and none of them actually work. So, they only find out that Pillow is on the dandelion meadow because the sheep was covered in dandelions, and they go on a bus and then they find pillow. So, they find pillow but a tree is on the road. So they use a kite to make the bus fly. Since when kites make buses fly? Only if it is a giant one! The movie's creator could not have been sober. So, Peanut announces her surprise, and it was an hot air balloon. It's a huge surprise at Lalaloopsyland, but at the real world, right here, it's (almost) not a surprise. So, the movie ends.THIS IS IT. Not even of the "so bad it is good" kind. Poorly-made story, lots of pain for the older viewers, lots of slow points at the plot. Bottom line: This movie is just plain slow.
View MoreThis show is totally adorable! I love that it is full of bright colors and fun music! As a bonus, the characters are sweet and nice! Such a refreshing change to all the shows with characters who are snotty, selfish and vain. All my girls (ages 2.5 yrs, 7 yrs, 11 yrs & 14 yrs) ALL love it and don't mind playing it over and over! To be honest, I love it as well! Thank you for making such a cute show that doesn't create a negative attitude in the kids who watch it! It may not have a gripping story line, and probably isn't the most educational show out there, but we still can't get enough of it and would love to see more of them made! A total winner in our house!
