A Masterpiece!
After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.
View MoreExcellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.
View MoreThere's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.
View MoreAgent Cody Banks (2003) really is like a bond film for the tween crowd. But I don't think that the audience is just limited to 12/13 year olds, I think older audience members can have fun with it too. Frankie Muniz, Hilary Duff, and Angie Harmon star, and they all do a good job with their roles. Frankie captures the fun/innocent, almost dorky side of the character, but then is able to switch into special agent mode when needed. Hilary Duff plays the typical action film girl that is rescued, falls for the agent, that kind of thing, and she plays it well. And Angie Harmon plays Cody's CIA handler, she is the one responsible for him and his performance. I really loved Angie character, and her performance, she really cared for Cody, was like a mentor to him, she also has her share of humorous dialogue. Her costumes are very well done too, they are typical cool spy type costumes, form fitting, stuff like that. Some people complained that her character was too "sexy" or "sensual". I don't really agree with that, yes her wardrobe was kinda tight and sometimes sexy looking, but that's typical action film style, and it works. Her entrance to the movie is perfect, heels clicking to the music, showing all the jerks in the locker room who's boss. The script is average, but this movie really doesn't require an Oscar award winning script, the script works for what the movie is. The action sequences could have been better, but overall I think they worked just fine. I think the ending especially looked good, the explosions, and other visuals looked impressive. And Of course the movie ends happily with a bow, but that's how it's supposed to, and I quite liked it. I recommend this film for a 11 year old and older audience. 7/10.
View MoreA film about a junior secret agent on a mission to save the world and get the girl. From car, snowmobile and skateboard chases to battling nanobots and infiltrating the villain's heavily-guarded secret hide out. This film starred: Frankie Muniz, Hilary Duff & Angie Harmon.Agent Cody Banks, isn't that good of a movie, I liked this film when I was younger but now when I watch it, it is just boring. I don't really recommend it but I would to your kids because they will enjoy it. But I am afraid this spy adventure doesn't live up to what the press claimed it would like it has with so many films.**/***** Poor.

View MoreSkateboarding Seattle teenager Frankie Muniz (as Cody Banks) is really a secret CIA spy kid. As "Agent Cody Banks", he is assigned to date Hilary Duff (as Natalie Connors), to get close to her father. But, Mr. Muniz gets tongue-tied around girls. Ms. Duff's daddy, Martin Donovan (as Mr. Connors), is developing "Nanobots" (microscopic robots) for the rival ERIS organization. Duff is kidnapped; and, the fate of the entire free world hangs in the balance. Strictly preteen juvenile hi-jinks ensue. An arousing Angie Harmon (as Ronica Miles) is a tight to the Ts highlight.*** Agent Cody Banks (2003) Harald Zwart ~ Frankie Muniz, Hilary Duff, Angie Harmon
