Highly Overrated But Still Good

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

PLANET REHAB is a very poor indie that goes for the sci-fi comedy approach. The story is about aliens trying to get mankind addicted to drugs and the hillbilly stoners who oppose them. Needless to say, this is painfully bad, needlessly stupid, and completely unfunny. It's so cheap that it's filmed on a single camera with half a dozen actors in the desert. There seems to be some kind of Russ Meyer influence in scenes of voluptuous, barely-dressed women kicking backside (and having it kicked in return), but it's mostly unwatchable regardless.
