This is a documentary about an honest search for the truth about the Federal Reserve Bank and the legality of the Internal Revenue System. Through extensive interviews with recognised experts and authority, the director shows an astonishing revelation of how the Federal Government and the Bankers have fooled the American public by taking thier wages and putting it in the pockets of the super-rich.

Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast

Watching it is like watching the spectacle of a class clown at their best: you laugh at their jokes, instigate their defiance, and "ooooh" when they get in trouble.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

Mr. Russo's documentary is excellent. It truly shows both sides of the issue. He doesn't just get one-sided on this like a lot of documentaries. He shows how both Republicans and Democrats know of this fleecing to the American people. I liken the IRS tactics to that of Hitler. To give a organization such power to strong-arm the American citizens is such a travesty! Its also interesting how Aarron unveils more than his original quest of how big a fraud is being perpetrated on the public. It makes you sit up and take notice that if even X IRS agents speak out and X commissioners threaten that we can't be saved makes one realize its time to become leaders. Now I know most will thing just to go along with the status quo and say I'm doing fine well you might be now but what if a ripple in our standard of living affects us more personally. Do you think a corrupt government will think of you first. Remember New Orleans and remember how they put their interests first. I am Canadian but we are the same just divided by a border.

Russo's presentation of the income-tax fraud is brilliant, and his warnings of the imminent government card & chip ID and control systems, chilling. The effect is sadly and badly marred, however, by his relentless attribution of blame to a shadowy group of "international bankers" and the Federal Reserve. The Fed is a club of banks, granted special privileges by the Federal Government in exchange for its role in creating "money" for its use out of thin air. Those privileges include the right for member banks to lend money at interest which they did not possess on deposit the instant before the loan was made and the mortgage received; this is called "fractional reserve" banking and is a prime cause of inflation.Every other company and industry group that beds down with government also gains benefits at productive peoples' expense; there is no fundamental difference. The correct solution is to terminate government; then, all such companies would be free to compete - but only honestly. Government can (alas) survive without bankers; bankers can survive without government only as harmless players in the marketplace, with no special powers to harm anyone."America: from Freedom to Fascism" is a fine production. Tragically, it blames the wrong culprit.

Not very often does anyone from the media or Hollywood take on serious tasks such as this. I hope that this is the beginning of a truth movement, and others will follow suit. Far too long has the truth been sidelined. The Media owes their allegiance to their big corporate owners, so we never hear anything controversial, just parroting the "official" line. I have to prowl the Internet for the whole stories behind the snippets that are aired on the networks. They would never touch an issue such as this. It would be great to see more of this type work, unfortunately the media is strangely quiet on these matters, and afraid to buck the trends and do true investigative work. I say hooray for Mr. Russo.

Aaron Russo takes on a very difficult task with this film and does it better than I think anyone else could have done it. The challenge with a documentary like this, is that there is so much information; so much history so many legal citations that go along with this subject matter it is very difficult to tell this story about the IRS and Federal Reserve System in two hours and at the same time give the audience enough information.Aaron does a great job creating enough interest and supporting documentation on the main points that it begs more questions that any person can go out and look up for themselves. The thing people have to realize about this film is that this is the first of its kind. Aaron has given America a tremendous gift with this documentary. A lesson in civics that should be shown in all schools and libraries across the country. It is something that people can go to for understanding. There have been thousands of people looking for the answers to the questions regarding the constitutionality of the income tax and federal reserve system and have gotten no answers from their government. Even though the film answers only a few main points like what is income? (a very important point that is highly misunderstood with American population) He hits the topics with broad strokes leaving it up to the viewer to get off their duff and take responsibility and do their own research.Even if you don't like the documentary style. This is a most important film and makes Faranhiet 9-11 look like a joke. Aaron touches on the issues that no one else wants to touch with a 10 foot pole and our elected representatives avoid like it's the plague. (Except for Congressman Ron Paul) GO OUT AND SEE THIS FILM. YOU MUST IT IS YOUR CIVIC DUTY TO KNOW THIS INFORMATION!!!!
