Anatomy of Love Trailers

Cassious is a hopelessly romantic college student seeking to find love and companionship with his best friend Jenesis. Jenesis is an emotionally scarred college girl who has outspokenly lost her faith in true love. Cassious is careful to not to spill his true feelings knowing her feelings regarding love and their friendship. Jenesis expresses her stern opinions of love in one of her college courses and winds up with a special assignment. Jenesis is challenged by her professor to document the opinions of at least 10 of her peers on the question "What is love?". Once she has documented her peers she is then to document her opinion after listening to her peers to see if her idea has changed. As Jenesis has done her whole life, she depends on Cassious to help her complete her learning and love. Cassious gets ribbed by his friends for following Jenesis around constantly and being her errand boy as she jumps from guy to guy and dismissed Cassious' obvious feelings... Written by Mason Younge

A bit overrated, but still an amazing film

This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

they don't usually like romantic comedies. found it very romantic. a number of them bought it for their girlfriends. it should be on BET... plug...plug...plug...and, oh yeah...plug. my intuition is pumping 'fraud' to my pen. it might be good but this kind of tactic really puts me off. so if you come back here to read reviews other than your own on the movie, i want you to know that i'm on to you... and it doesn't make the movie look any better. my review doesn't have enough lines. now i wish i took notes on those previous reviews so i could show more of the similarities. it's like they got together and discussed what to write and who will write what. there. that should be enough.

Hats off to producing and releasing an independent $100K movie like this! It made me care about the characters and it made my eyes wet at times. Good story telling and great acting!I love cultures and races and the interactions. What threw me off in the beginning was that most of the cast was black. It intrigued me from the start... most movies in the west you see today have a mix of races, but here the whites are rare, love it (me being blue-eyed blond)! The audio might not be perfect at times nor some visuals but overall, who cares! It's the story that keeps you hooked. And it did. It was predictable from the start and throughout yet quite entertaining at the same time.As far as love goes... not an easy subject. Examined from many perspectives in the movie from quite dumb to rather perceptive. Contrasts and unanswered questions. Oxymorons. Struggle. Learning. Forgiveness. Choices. Dilemma. Ending?

I was surprised by how much I really liked this film. I'm kind of fussy about romantic comedy, as so much of it seems to follow the exact same plot. This little urban romance was different from the start. It had a lot of little twists and turns which held my attention right to the end. The set-up was great and followed with frustration, annoyance, and disappointment as the plot drew toward the conclusion. And the ending was never a foregone conclusion. I was on the edge of my seat hoping for a happy ending right up to the end. I watched it with my daughter and best friend and we all loved it. If you like romantic comedy, you must watch Anatomy of Love. Can't wait to see more work by Way-Young.

We all have questions about what love really means. "Anatomy of Love" was very well written and did a great job entertaining these questions. The movie exuded fun through a very vibrant and talented cast of actors. The creative direction for the movie caused you to think back on signs of love that one may have over looked in the past. It's a lesson in love we all can relate to. The college setting helps keep your attention from beginning to end. While others can relate to experiencing a broken heart rather by a love interest or a family member. This movie helps define love genuinely and with integrity. Cheers to Way-Younge LLC, for producing a movie that we can watch time and time again.
