I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
View MoreDreadfully Boring
The movie is wonderful and true, an act of love in all its contradictions and complexity
View MoreI think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
View MoreThis is an unrealistic movie not to be even in IMDB 10000. I like Aamir khan, but not in this baseless unrealistic comedy.
View MoreAmar (Aamir Khan) and Prem (Salman Khan) are two daydreamers with a common aim: getting rich by marrying a rich heiress, Raveena Bajaj (Raveena Tandon), daughter of Ram Gopal Bajaj (Paresh Rawal). The guys run into each other on a bus and soon realise that they have a common goal. The trio fail at various attempts to woo the lady. Finally, they decide to insinuate themselves in her house. Amar pretends to be a guy who has lost his memory after getting hit by Raveena, while Prem pretends to be a doctor. The boys don't know that Raveena's secretary Karishma (Karisma Kapoor) is the real Raveena and Raveena's actual name is Karishma. Raveena switched her identity because she wanted to find a boy who will love her, not her money.Nobody is aware that Ram Gopal has a twin brother called Shyam Gopal Bajaj aka Teja. Teja is a criminal who has taken lots of money from Crime Master Gogo (Shakti Kapoor). Teja hopes to land the riches himself by kidnapping his brother and posing as Ram. He has also planted his cronies Robert (Viju Khote) and Bhalla (Shehzad Khan) in the household.
View MoreThe movie's comedy is completely unrealistic. It will be really difficult to laugh unless you're ready to go crazy and create laugh for your favourite heroes. Even though I enjoy a lot of humour and I've tried to be patient throughout the movie, I couldn't watch the movie beyond 1 hour 15 minutes.I also understand that the film is really nostalgic for many of the youth in 1990's, so I don't mean to hurt them by this. Who knows? Maybe this would have been my favourite movie if I watched it 10-15 years ago!In my case, the rating from IMDb has misled me in watching this movie.
View MoreAndaz Apna Apna is the most recent instance of a growing trend of Bollywood movies to briefly surface on IMDb's Top 250. Personally I have found these films hit or miss, and Andaz joins the clear misses. Films with almost a perfect rating need to justify themselves. Certainly a victim of high expectations, Andaz failed to update or improve comic shticks that were unoriginal fifty years ago. Energetic and upbeat, this film had its heart in the right place, but could rarely elevate jokes above the "smirk" level. Every character was initially amusing, but their simplicity and lack of evolution aggravated the already substantial run time. The music was not even memorable. This is not to say I hate the movie or was even particularly bored. Hijinks were certainly abound. I was never surprised by any outcome, but was at least amused watching each bit of chicanery unfold. Humor is arguably the most subject aspect of film, and I will surely not claim that I was able to pick up every subtlety across the language barrier. I am happy for the many who enjoyed this film more than I. Andaz Apna Apna was simply not inspiring. An average film.
