The movie is a post-apocalyptic horror/science fiction film. the setting is in a near post apocalyptic future where a biological warfare program goes wrong, and turns most of humanity to mindless, murderous creatures.

Blistering performances.

Allison Davies

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.

One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.

Again, like other films I have reviewed, I HAD to give this a 1 point review as numeric ZERO was sadly not available. Crap acting, desperate script, poorly edited, guns, guns and more guns. After a while I gave up looking for a decent plot - which by the way, what little there was, turned out to be one possible thought up in ten minutes of cold sitting on a toilet somewhere. The whole thing looked like it was made with a camcorder. Regarding main film content: "How do we fill in time for the film? O' let's shoot a few more zombie-like killers and come up with excuses to create yet another situation, just to be able to do just that too!"How the hell did this film get a rating over six is beyond me. IMDb seriously needs to look again at how its ratings are done and how some could be helping to fake them. The film was so bad, not just my opinion, there is no way in reality this film should rise above two at most. It was bad, bad, bad, bad...

To put it succinctly, this movie has all that modern zombie movies are supposed to have. Incredible gore? Check. Virus zombies? Check. Soldiers shooting zombies? Check. A horror plot that has people falling to their own weaknesses? Check. The shocks are there, the plot is excellent, and the acting is very, very good. My only issue with the movie, actually, was its use of some recognizable actors- casting semi-unknowns makes the movie more visceral, instead of having fans think, 'Oh, I saw that guy in...'.Action-focused, grainy camera work makes it look great. The movie moves along at a nice pace, never leaving you room to get bored.

This has to be one of the best zombie movies I've seen in a while. It was somewhat original, with everything a horror movie needs plus, a great story line and great actors. Yet the most effective tool they used was reality. The only part i found hard to believe was the helicopter scene. I found that this movie wanted the viewers to feel that this could happen and that is the scary thing. They wanted you to be afraid that this could happen any day to anyone. Unlike other zombie movies like undead, resident evil, this one had a different approach. I gave it props for giving me everything i want in a movie. I like these zombie movies because, yes they have gore, but do not try to have the big breasted teen girls and the killer in a mask type deal. It is much, much worse. I give this 8 stars, it is a movie all people above 13 should see...

I went to watch this movie with no preconceived notions regarding the quality of the movie. In fact, I never heard of the movie, but what I watched was good. It's not a horror movie. Rather it's a science fiction movie that's based on a highly plausible premise. The action is fast- paced, accompanied by a musical score that intensifies the growing sense of doom as attempts to contain and eradicate a lethal disease unravel with catastrophic results. The scope of this movie is reminiscent of The Body Snatchers and The Day of the Triffids, the latter an excellent, and now all-but-forgotten, sci-fi story. This is one of the best science- fiction movies in a long long time and proof that when it wants Hollywood can present a credible sci-fi movie that tells a story and does not insult the audience's intelligence.
