It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.

I love this movie because I think this is the first Malay movie that used flashback to tell a story and P. Ramlee have done an excellent job. The mood of the movie is good. This a tragedy comedy with a happy ending. The songs are good especially the evergreen "Getaran Jiwa". S. Shmasuddin gave a good performance as a good friend to the P. Ramlee character. And Ahmad Nesfu as always was excellent and have proved that he was a very versatile actor tackling both comedic and serious roles( a comedian in Madu Tiga, Tiga Abdul, Pendekar Bujang Lapok and a serious actor in this movie). I hope this movie will have a DVD version where interviews with surviving cast like Saadiah,S. Shamsuddin and photo galleries could be included.
