n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.
View MoreIt's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
View MoreThis is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
View MoreThis is a good documentary for anyone to watch. It's not just for the pro thinker. But it's not just for those against either. I think what I like most if how the people in it get pretty much an equal billing. The doctor gets as much time as the regular Joe so we hear from all types of people and get a truly diverse viewpoint. I looks at the cannabis industry, the hemp industry, and the prison industry as well as law enforcement and legal industries. Lot's is at stake when we look at legalizing a plant that competes with just about every industry. The film gives info, but it's fun to watch as well. I won't spoil the ending, but it's a nice pay off and the whole thing wraps up nicely. If you are looking for the same old documentary this is probably not for you. If you want a fresh look at an issue America is talking about everyday then watch Bad Seed. Even if you are in other parts of North America like Canada or Mexico there is something in there for you as well. Find out why governments have made it illegal to grow a plant.
View MoreLoved it. If, like me, you've never questioned why marijuana is illegal, you must watch Bad Seed. Metcalfe's in-depth look at how society reached a point where we deny people in pain relief— without side effects—simply because that relief comes from a plant is an eye opener. I already agreed with medical marijuana and even decriminalization (the film talks about what it costs us to keep arresting people and I have better things to spend my money on), but I guess I assumed there was some kind of relevant reason for weed's bad reputation. Very interesting film.
View MoreThis film is an intimate call to action, a story that must be heard and shared again and again. Shayne's passion, dedication and perseverance bring together a compelling group of activists that believe the time for change is now! The multi-layering of personal stories combine to create a clear and concise history of a seed that is forever changing and shaping the face of human and planetary history. Brilliant slow motion photography, a very natural Cinema Verite feel, photography feels very true to life, this movie entertains while being educated. It's the weed documentary without all the residue! It's a film that can be enjoyed by consumers and non consumers alike!"It's just a seed, you put it in the ground and it grows" ..
