It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

This was probably the most disappointing film that's a spin off to the Behzat TV series. For those of you who are not too familiar with the show, Behzat was a Turkish police drama that lasted three seasons from 2010-2013. Behzat is the captain of a dysfunctional police department. He suffered one heartbreak after another. First, his daughter, Berna, dies at the end of the pilot episode. Second, he tries to propose to Bahar, a divorced single mom of two children, but she turns down his proposal. Third, after dating and even sleeping with the lead prosecutor, Esra, he marries her. Unfortunately, Esra was gunned down, about eight episodes later. Fourth, when he reads her autopsy report, he was devastated to find out that she was about two months pregnant with his child. Finally, he realizes that Sule, his housemate, confesses that she killed Berna.OK, now on to the film. Behzat, now retired, is coaching a youth soccer team. After a string of murders involving politicians, the detectives decide to call Behzat for help. The storyline here is extremely weak. But the cast really makes up for it. You see Vulture, Ghost, Harun and Eda. Unfortunately, Cevdet is not present in this film or the first one. The real bonus here is you get to see what happens to Behzat and the detectives during the closing credits. Hint: Harun finally gets lucky in love :D

Behzat Ç. was great series.Behzat Ç. Seni Kalbime Gomdum was an average movie other hand i really like the story but i guess some problems happened about transporting the story to viewers. Behzat Ç.Seni Kalbime Gomdum about a kid tries to get revenge to people who killed his family. Unfortunality Behzat Ç.Ankara Yaniyor's story almost same with Seni Kalbime Gomdum.Besides, side stories weaker than Seni Kalbime Gomdum. I am not saying Behzat Ç.:Ankara Yaniyor was a bad movie but after the disappointment of Seni Kalbime Gomdum i expected more powerful movie from this crew plus they don't have a TV series must be wrote last year.So they've a lot of time about Ankara Yaniyor's script but unfortunality this time wasted

In this second film inspired by the successful television series of the same name, our eponymous hero (Erdal Besikcioglu) becomes embroiled in a complicated plot involving arms-dealers, an assassinated government minister, a member of the German Embassy in Ankara who is not quite what she seems, a trip to Northern Cyprus, and an outbreak of serious rioting in Turkey's capital. The plot is enormously complicated, involving high-level corruption in government as well as a potential outbreak of terrorism. However the film's main interest - as in the television series - focuses on the central characters' relationships. Behzat remains as miserable as ever, especially when the father of one of the boys in the football team he coaches is murdered. His sidekick Harun (Fatih Artman) provides comic relief, as well as acting the heavy whenever necessary. Vulture (Berkan Sal) tries and fails to ignite a love-affair, but manages to persuade a news-anchor to tell the truth about what is happening on television, in defiance of the television bosses' wishes. Meanwhile Ghost (Inanc Konukcu) enjoys a brief respite in narcotics rather than homicide. Behzat's old adversary Ercument (Nejat Isler) reappears; the conflicts - as well as the climatic scrap - between the two men are some of the film's principal highlights. BEHZAT C: ANKARA YANIYOR is at heart a routine crime thriller, but can be appreciated by anyone familiar with the now-defunct television series.
