Wonderful character development!
I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible
View MoreStory: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
View MoreContrary to what some reviewers write, the title is appropriate. The scares and dangers in the film come not from Bigfoot, but from the inhabitants of the area which is Bigfoot Country; the drug-dealers and other rural denizens of Bigfoot Country are the scariest things in those woods.I enjoy found-footage films, but this was boring. The protagonists, while not as annoying as in some other films of this type, still are irritating, what with their insipid dialog and moronic decisions. The cleverest part of the film is the final shot, a close-up of a dead protagonist while in the background Bigfoot walks by--oh, the irony! Unfortunately, I watched this after Wild Men which is a comedy/horror found-footage film about searching for Bigfoot that is much more entertaining. Bigfoot is the scariest thing in the woods in that one.
View MoreA routine, paint-by-numbers version of THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, lacking that film's originality, atmosphere, and genuine sense of uneasiness. THE BIGFOOT TAPES certainly has potential and I really wanted to enjoy it; those Californian forest locations look fantastic and are doubtless atmospheric in themselves. What a shame, then, that what ensues is so listless and predictable.A trio of documentary film-makers set out into the woods to prove or disprove the legend of Bigfoot once and for all. There's some minor interest at first as they have run-ins with kooky inhabitants (shades of BLAIR WITCH already) and then lots of aimless wandering around. I could cope with the middle section of the film if it actually went somewhere, but it doesn't. Instead we get a tent attack scene that rips off BLAIR WITCH something rotten, before a dodgy twist ending which is unsatisfying to say the least. THE BIGFOOT TAPES is all build up and no pay off, which is nobody's idea of fun...
View MorePlease, for the love of God do not waste your precious time on this AWFUL movie. I am a big fan of B movies, but this is just too much. Bad acting, no point to the story and the one guy ends up getting raped in the woods by some rednecks and that's basically the end of the movie other than seeing "Bigfoot" for about 5 seconds at the very end. Oh, and I have never heard the work f*%$ more times in my entire life. It was so bad I started counting and couldn't focus on the movie (which was no big loss). It was so annoying, almost laughable. I would rather listen to polka music for 15 hours straight rather than (try) to sit through this movie again. The title is very misleading it should be called How to lose your girlfriend, get screwed in the ass and not find bigfoot in 10 days. I hope the actors don't quit their day job.
View Morewith this movie as the movie just felt ................................Well I wished,I didn't after to write anything else, as the first line said it all.felt the movie stayed on one stage, never really moved forward at all, the bunch of scenes of nothing put together. Not one scene was scary or creepy at all, not even one small bad scare scene to make you Jump or even blink,When I thought this movie could not get any worse,it goes into some kinda of hostage movie, some of the cast end up going missing, you have no idea were they go.I don't know, Maybe I missed it cause, I wasn't really paying too much attention to the movie near the end.The end of the movie, made me laugh out so loud, it's was so. so, SO, Badly done. The acting this movie was very wooden from the whole cast, I Did not care for one person in this movie at all, I found all very annoying2 out 10
