Good , But It Is Overrated By Some
Too much about the plot just didn't add up, the writing was bad, some of the scenes were cringey and awkward,

Those cartoons had a few elements in common: sense of humour, universal humour, minimal or no wording, a mix of cute and cruel characters, bi-dimensional characters, and a certain look. Those cartoons weren't made to show off the animation techniques in vogue, their aim was to entertain and make you smile and laugh. Bird Food pays an homage to those old cartoons, in the mood, coloring, sort of story, lack of words, kind of characters, themes, mix of cute an cruel, Universal humour mixed with great animation.Bird Food feels fresh, simple and understated, but it is a very good short film. The retro coloring, the cuteness and lightness of the film manipulates viewers so as to take us to a surprising two-fold ending. Understated humour, well narrated and cute-not-so-cute characters.
