I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible
View MoreThis is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.
View MoreEach character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
View MoreEasily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.
View MoreAs a non-hip hop aficionado, I still found this a compelling film. I watch these types of documentaries to help me understand the music and look for the meaning behind the words. This film gives insight into the New York Police Department and how they targeted or profiled rappers. I think it was initial to be of help in compromising situations, but ultimately became something more negative. What do the cops really think and feel about that world? What ever they "say," actions speak louder than words. Look inside their binder at all the faces and names we hear about on the radio and TV, and hear what the NYPD doesn't want you to know. You can't get anymore real than this.
