Too much of everything
Highly Overrated But Still Good
In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
View MoreExcellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
View MoreThis is the first Blessy-directed movie I saw. Its a nicely done movie on sex rackets destroying lives of the commoners. Melodious songs and splendid performance(as usual) from actress Meera Jasmine. Even hero Dileep had done a commendable job. However scenes related to the spirit of the dead was unnecessary. The same goes to moments wher Meera experiences certain "visions" of her husband's dying moments. Blessy doesn't truly pay much attention to these scenes(in the larger context of the movie) and thereby end up confusing the viewers. That's where the movie faltered. At the end, we're not sure if Blessy wanted to highlight the tragedies of sex rackets or a peep into the world of the dead! Enough focus was not given to either of the subjects. Verdict ~ Well, it's better than College Kumaran. You may watch it if you LOVE Meera Jasmine :)
