hyped garbage

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.

Good movie not what I would call a good "theater" movie I mean that as if I saw it in a theater I would've walked out & said I should've waited for this to come out on DVD. It portrays the view is not everyone is who you think they are. The way she moves in with the guys after what her life was or was going to be fell apart. It was always clear that Dennis had those feelings and the way their relationship was it was always clear that those feelings were one-sided. It seemed that because of what she lost Gray was always afraid to let herself re-enter the real world which kind of made the relationships between her and the other characters seem hampered which I wished was different. It will sound so cliché but I wish the ending had a better more dramatic build up. The music didn't seem to fit the scenarios very well like when a romantic moment was happening there would be a sad song & when there would be a heartbreaking moment the music to it would be just kind of bleak not a song that would put you into that moment. What I look for in a good movie is a film that can enrapture in the film in films when you sit there knowing you are watching a movie I don't classify it as great.

Essentially, it's Jennifer Garner mourning the death of her fiancée… during her grieving process she finds out that her fiancée has a child as well as a secret bank account that she didn't know about. She deals with the information while meeting her fiancée best friend, who knows about his dead friend's secret child. It's a bit predictable and a typical plot, but I can't say that it wasn't enjoyable. I must say at certain points of the movie it was like… really? Did we really need this side plot? It just makes the main character look like a douche and is just an excuse to transition from scene to another. URGH.You get what you expect: minimal feelings with a good supporting cast. Best watched near the fireplace while snowing outside, this movie is just a simple watch. There's not a lot of emotions to it or surprises, but it goes at a familiar pace.

My favorite part of the movie was the romance between Jennifer Garner and Timothy Olyphant's character. The scene where they kissed in the garage just made my heart jump! I consider it as one of the best movie kissing scenes ever. It was hot and full of passion. Even though their romance wasn't really the main part of the story, it was the only part I really liked about the movie. Other then that it was pretty light-hearted and funny. I adore Garner's character who is humorous and not afraid to speak her mind. Olyphant's character is just... sexy and seductive. Overall this is a good movie. One of my favorites? No, not quite there yet.

Dear Kevin, May I suggest you stick to writing? Forget about all those highly paid actors and their wonderful lifestyles - it ain't for you.I could only watch 25 minutes of this film before I decided I had to warn people off it - and all because of the scenes where you appear. The "planer" scene - terrible. The fly-fishing scene - awful.I had to laugh when I read this review by "Mama-C from Bensalem, PA": "Kevin Smith was definitely the comic relief in this movie. According to Smith, he claims that he can't act and that's why he plays Silent Bob. I say -- NOT TRUE!!! Kevin Smith was perfect as "Sam" and his acting was very good." I can only assume this was your mother using the pseudonym "Mama-C" who wrote that. Please stick to writing Kev, there's a good boy.
