It's that first movie I watch from this director (François Delisle) and although I consider this film just above mediocre, it created the spark in me to check out some more films of him. Visually speaking, there are some very original sequences and takes in this introvert movie. Actors play mainly with their silence and stares and less with dialogues. So if you are interested in witty dialogues and exchanges this would not be your movie.

Chorus reveals a very sad but interesting to watch story. It was very realistic movie for me. I really enjoy watching such movies. Not much dialogues, however enough drama from the actors' and actresses' eyes.. like you won't cry but you definitely feel the characters and feel sorry deep inside. You might cry but only from the inside. But I'm just speaking for myself, so I'm not sure about you all. I love Sundance movies like this one. Great acting, you can feel that they are not even acting, as if they lost their son for real. I love the tension and confusion between the "divorced" couple. My favorite scene is: when they were in the Police station watching the video tape of their son's rapist's confession. Amazing reaction from the father.. My Rating for this movie is actually 7.5 but it's not possible in IMDb. So I just gave it 7. Enjoy the movie.... au revoir!
