Excellent, a Must See

I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

I had to watch this twice and I'm still not really sure about.The second time, I saw a newer version that starts off by explaining that parts two and three sucked and this is the true sequel.While that helps a little bit, it raises as many questions as it answers.The movie starts off great.Lots of great comedy and action and lots of cameos, including the Sklar brothers as the local news team.They are by far the best part of all four movies.Even though it starts off strong, it doesn't make any sense.Toxie has a fat sidekick and we're supposed to just act like he was always there?His girlfriend is blind again too.I guess that's why they added the extra part at the beginning but if you saw the original version you would never understand what was going on.You should also watch Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD first.He's in this movie and you are just supposed to already know all about him.All that negative stuff aside, it's not really that bad.If this had been the only Toxic Avenger movie, it would have been a classic.Most people who like to watch movies in order will never even get this far, there's too much trash to wade through.

This may be the crudest, rudest, grossest, most offensively tasteless film Troma ever put out... ...a perfect movie!Gross-out and throw-away gags are intermingled with unexpected whimsy and some very witty satire.Casting Ron Jeremy as the Mayor, and Hank the Angry Drunken Dwarf as a profane God was particularly brilliant.Lloyd Kaufman, amusingly, advises to ignore the previous two sequels, "they don't count". Citizen Toxie is the REAL sequel to their original Toxic Avenger - and the better of the two (or four) movies.Don't bother with the long critiques, the jokes are more fun when you don't expect them.Highly recommended except for prudes.

I had a difficult time reviewing this movie.On the one hand, it was another opportunity to see Debbie Rochon.On the other hand, I would have liked to see her in something else.On one hand, I have to cheer for a movie that includes a role that I can actually play. Lardass rules! On the other hand, I really got grossed out when the diaper gang guy pooped in his pants. Yech! On one hand, I can certainly cheer a superhero that takes breaks to have sex with his wife (Heidi Sjursen).On the other hand, I am deeply offended at the multiple uses of the "R" word for the developmentally disabled. I consider that as offensive as the "N" word.One one hand, I like Dolphin Man, The Vibrator, Masterbater, Sgt. Kabukiman and Mad Cowboy. That's some interesting superheros.On the other hand, the are some really outrageous scenes in this movie that will certainly be offensive to many.On the one hand, Tromas TV was hilarious.On the other hand, this movie, while outrageous, was no worse than watching Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, so I'll give it the same rating.

Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV can be described in a few words: Gory, disgusting, hysterical, offensive, violent, and so much more. This is the comeback sequel. Everyone thought Toxie was gone...but he came back in this AWESOME film! From first frame till last I was both disgusted and laughing my butt off at the same time. THis film is probably the FUNNIEST Troma film I have seen. I cannot begin to talk about this. We got Hank The Angry Drunken Dwarf as God...that right there is hilarious! I have watched this film about 20 times...my friends hate it but they don't understand Troma cinema. Troma is the only film company that has tons of naked women, old naked women, penis monsters...uh yeah don't wanna give much away .Just buy this awesome film today if you are a Toxic Avenger fan. It won't let you down. Watch it knowing you will see an offensive and disgusting movie. It has everything, and TOxie's sidekick Lardass also adds to the humor. SEE IT NOW! And make sure it is UNRATED. R RATED SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! LLOYS IS GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
