On the night of March 13th, 1997, strange lights were witnessed flying over the Phoenix sky, and in their wake a "man" appeared. Jimmy and Father Michael feel their lives affected by this stranger. Baffled, Father Michael travels to Mexico to seek advice from his mentor. But a series of accidents prevents the truth from being revealed, and Father Michael is left even more alone and afraid. What he later discovers defies his perception of reality and the core of all he has ever believed. For Jimmy, the mysterious man provides guidance towards finding what he has sought for many years.

Good start, but then it gets ruined

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

This movie captured my attention very early on. It lured me into the life of the characters and had me asking questions about what was going to happen all through the movie. Things didn't always add up, which kept me glued to the movie that much more. A suspenseful and intriguing movie that I would like to watch a few more times. Loved it!

Not made for the folks who need CGI, Explosions, hero being applauded by a large crowd at the end of the movie, this movie was brooding, intense and hard to figure out. But worth it. Substantive. Also, I really loved the editing and photography. I found myself noticing the shots and appreciating the way they were put together. I hope Mr.Pace moves on to more feature films. Enjoyed this one a bunch.

This film is far, far better than others are giving it credit for. It is not a fast paced action film. It is however a moody and brooding, dark supernatural mystery the entire way through. The Soundscapes and even some of the cinematography are reminiscent of early John Carpenter or Don Coscarelli type films. Only more independent with a smaller budget of course -so it may not be on the level of those masters, but it still contains hints of their style. I enjoyed this film the whole way through. In fact not only did I actually watch the whole film unlike other reviewers, I enjoyed it enough that I now own it. If you are a fan of Mystery SciFi and are looking for something more cerebral than action based, this film is well worth checking out.

You know when somebody cooks something so horrible that you can't even get through it because it is so frickin' bad. This film is like that. I couldn't tell you spoilers if I wanted to, because I couldn't punish myself (by watching it) for that long! Honestly, I have seen better film on teeth! What I did see, was slow and draggy. The acting achieved a new level of horrific that I had not seen before. I think they dubbed one of the actor's voices in afterwards, because his voice and ONLY his voice sounded like it was done in a studio, after the fact... with too much bass. It's like they tried to take 2 great titles and make one passable title for this movie "Conspiracy Encounters" being Conspiracy Theory and Close Encounters, but even that doesn't work and sounds as lame as the movie itself. 2 thumbs down (if I had more thumbs, they'd be down too)!
