One of the worst movies I've ever seen
Gripping story with well-crafted characters
Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.
View MoreIt isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.
View MoreHaving seen both "Crocodile Dundee" and ""Crocodile Dundee 2"I just had to watch the third and final outing of Mick Dundee,Sue Charlton and the friends Down Under just to satisfy my trip down memory lane. "Crocodile Dundee" sparked my interest in cinema after I left school, particularly world cinema, in particular Australia. The plot revolves around Mick, Sue and their son Mikey living in Australia. Life is great Down Under, Mick is still hunting living the high life with his mates until Sue's father summons her back to the US to take up a role in Los Angeles. The family move to Los Angeles and we see Mick's naivety once more charming the locals. Sue is working upon an investigative story triggering Mick's gut instinct taking him to the film industry to infiltrate a film group and it's activities. A good, wholesome comedy from Paul Hogan and now ex-wife Linda Koslowski which manages to grab your attention and distracts from the the fare produced around it at the time of its release and would still hold it's own among comedy films produced now. It's pure entertainment all the way, interspersed with Paul's comedy timing delivering the goods bang on time.Cinema-goers tastes have changed since 1986 but if you're looking for it and manage to locate it, then watch the previous two movies before this one and admire the best from Down Under. the best from Down Under.
View MoreAustralian Outback adventurer Mick "Crocodile" Dundee travels to Los Angeles with his young son while his longtime companion suspects foul play at a movie studio. Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles basically Crocodile Dundee III is thank god the last of this movies although it's fun like the critics said the movie suffers from poor comedy it comes recycled most of the time and is it me? or did this film copied a lot of elements from Beverly Hills Cop 3? Another 3rd film that many people hated. Paul Hogan is still good old but good, Linda Kozlowski's character Sue isn't much in the film but she is still nice and the kid did a nice job and the Mike Tyson cameo was nice it was alright. Now Jere Burns and Jonathan Banks were easily the worst of this film the villains if you can even call them that were cartoons 100% they just didn't have any power over the hero of the film the previous ones from the 2nd film had but this? Not even close. Also the plans for this movie took decades and that is what really hurts the movie for me cause 1 and 2 came out in the 80's and this one in 2001 so you get what i'm trying to say. It was a fun sequel but a very unnecessary one that lost the touch and the charisma of the previous 2 movies.
View MoreCrocodile Dundee in Los Angeles is an awful movie with a very poorly written storyline and a cast that just don't seem interested. I wasn't a huge fan of the first Dundee, it was watchable and quite funny and that was about it, the second one was much worse, losing a lot of the heart and humour that made the original so loved, but this one completely runs it all down in to the ground, the set up of the story is ridiculous and even the title will tell you that they completely sold out with this sequel. The majority of the cast seemed to have no interest being in this film, except for Paul Hogan, who does honestly in all three movies keep the same confidence and charisma that is definitely needed to play this character, his acting is certainly not the reason the film stumbles, it's mostly the script. This film has a problem that a lot of comedy sequels seem to have, they just mess around for most of the movie, basically watching the actors do a bunch of stupid things for the first hour and then desperately trying to cram in a story for the final thirty minutes, comedies are obviously suppose to be funny but when you're just making jokes for an immensely long time and not focusing on the story one bit, it can get unbearable for the audience, particularly when the jokes aren't funny. A finale that will surely disappoint fans of the Dundee series and very few laughs, I would not recommend Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles to anyone. Crocodile Dundee most move to Los Angeles with son, where he gets caught up in a lot of trouble. Best Performance: Paul Hogan Worst Performance: Mike Tyson
View MoreMick Dundee (Paul Hogan) travels to the city of smog and stars with his young son (Serge Cockburn) in tow.No one should have had big expectations for this film, with its 1980s character now in the year 2001, with Paul Hogan noticeably aged and Linda Kozlowski looking like she had a few plastic surgery disasters. And Serge Cockburn is just annoying -- everything about this movie would be better if the kid was removed entirely (he really played no important part in the story). And yet, it is still pretty funny with a not-too-terrible mystery plot. What crime, if any, is being committed? And can Mick get to the bottom of it? These may not be the ruthless drug dealers of part two, but movie producers can be some vicious folks, as well!
