I love this movie so much

Sorry, this movie sucks

I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

The movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.

Do yourself a favor and watch this movie up to the point where the first guy gets sprayed with "water." Turn it off after that. At that point you'll have seen the only decent gore, and you will be spared the boredom and stupidity that is the rest of the "plot." This movie adds absolutely nothing. The gore is lame, the story is laughable, the acting is poor, and the plot holes are bigger than the cube itself.Just some examples.The helicopters can be heard at the lake as soon as they are scrambled. So the base is right next door? How could they possibly get away? The woman's daughter magically appears in the last scenes in the forest. Where did she come from? The "people upstairs" have to come down to the tech room to operate the controls and find the rogue tech guy? Really? With all their tech, there isn't another control room somewhere? Okay, so they have computer eye implants, chips in people's brains, and the means to build a cube... but they can't find one guy in the cube? Even though every room has a camera? Hello, how about a single mosaic channel showing all rooms? Or a motion sensor? Blah, blah, whatever. Not wasting time typing more. I figured with a 5.7 rating it can't be that bad, but it was just dreadful. How anyone can rate this higher than a 3 is beyond me.

This film is the third film in a series about a mysterious cube, in which people get trapped inside and die in horrible ways. A worker who is hired to be a technician of the cube decides to rescue a woman who seems to be placed in the cube wrongly.The previous two Cube films captivated me, even though they're gory at times. The plot of this film is less original and less captivating, after all it's the third film. It is good that the film is slightly different from the previous two, in that there is an outside perspective which makes the feel of the film very different. It is less mysterious, but have more human touch. Though it is less thrilling than the other two films, it is still an interesting film to watch.

I've heard of the Cube series, but my interest in the series started with Cube Zero. I don't know; Something about it makes it so fascinating and it's hard to describe that without spoiling the movie to people who hadn't watched it yet.When I first stumbled upon this film, and then looked it up on this site, it was pretty clear that most people did not like this movie. So, after getting the chance to watch it on the internet (Because of the rating it received, I couldn't buy it,) and I have to say, it was actually a nice prequel to Cube, apart from the less than two hour time run and some of the traps involved.The premise of Cube Zero sounds very similar to the first Saw movie and all of it's sequels. For example, the facts of people waking up in a strange room, with no recollection of how they even got there, or why they're in there, and the threat of certain death, is there in both series. In order to get a clear understanding of Cube Zero, I recommend looking up and/or watching the first movie, like I did when I first heard of the series, back in early 2012. For me, I would definitely recommend it, because of the mystery that surrounds the Cube and it's victims makes it so worth it to watch.

The whole Cube franchise is a very enjoyable string of B movie gold. That is its low budget, cheesy and bad acting but yet its one of those guilty pleasures and its so very enjoyable. For low budget movies th special effects are good and at some points make your stomach turn because of how lifelike it is.This movie is a prequel of the other cube movies. It shows a lot more in depth about the people controlling the cube and it kind of explains the orgins and where everything comes from.This movie is good definitely better then the second one probably not as good as the first. If you like the other Cube movies or if your a fan of SCI-FI/horror B movies then give this a watch.
