Best movie of this year hands down!

Beystiman

It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

Most movies have elements to make it look beautiful.. Curious George is one of those movies. The film has an understandable storyline, great voice acting done by comedic actors and a very cute George! The highlights of the film (for me) were :1. It is masterfully shot. Like when George doing some 'parkour' on the building, the camera was shooting at impressive angles.2. The lighting/shading was very impressive and appealing to viewers. I see this element on very few animated movies. It is a fun movie, George still has his curious elements, it was exciting and adventurous to watch and I give it a 10 out 10!

I've only seen this film a couple of times, so I decided to write whatever I could remember about it.As well as the likes of 2003's 'The Cat in the Hat' and 1986's 'My Little Pony: The Movie,' this film is bright and colourful in its entirety and it has fluid, smooth and detailed animation with a rounded look. When I first saw Ted AKA the Man in the Yellow Hat, I mistakenly thought he was voiced by Adam Sandler because he looks a lot like him but Will Ferrell (a surprising choice) voices him very well nonetheless. Maggie looked a little like Drew Barrymore who wasn't given much to do but nevertheless seemed a gentle character. George is cute and his antics were delights to the eyes such as his interactions with his fellow jungle animals at the beginning and the overhead projector enlarging him as he stomps around the city. I like the soundtrack by Jack Johnson, especially 'Upside Down,' although the background music was rather forgettable. I was also impressed with the interactive exhibitions at the museum towards the end of the film, especially the one that allows children to paint like George. To sum up, this is a cute and colourful film where some of its scenes are more memorable than others. 8/10.

Even for w kids movies, this was extremely awful. Full of bad lines and slow animation, this comes off as a cheap buck and not much else. And the only talent that was willing to lend to lend their talents was Will Ferrell as the Man in the Yellow Hat.Anyway, Ferrel travels to Africa to find an ancient monument to bring back. The museum's directer is OK with him going there, but the son of the museum director wants Ferrell to fail and thus tried to change the information Ferrell has to destroy him. But with any kiddie film he was foiled ultimately and everything goes back to normal, except there being a monkey around.I was really hoping this might be OK with Ferrell in the mixture, but the bad lines and slow animation were just too much. I wish our children got better quality movies instead of this junk. "F"

Boy oh Boy oh Boy ! I gotta say that this is the best Disney's movie I've ever watched! And the best part is that you can let you children watched it times and times again as it doesn't contain vulgarities, adult jokes, crude characters and ruddy dialogues. It is so unlike movies like the wretched Madagascar, which contains elements that is not suitable for kids. With Curious George, parents do not have a reason to be concerned, as this is a movie that teaches good moral values in a subtle way and contains no vulgarities associated with many animation movie in the industry nowadays. Kudos to the production crews! The animation's graphics suits the story. No, it's not as 'realistic' and 'vivid' like the other animation movies (i.e Madagascar, The Wild), but I think it was purposely made in such a way. This movie would certainly lose its charm if it emphasizes on the graphics. Having said that, I don't imply that the characters are made sloppily. Quite the contrary, I think the characters are so adorable, especially George! His facial expressions are amazing, with gleaming eyes and chubby face and waving arms and legs! The other characters are pretty impressive, too.So a score of 10/10 for the overall evaluation of the movie. Would vote for a higher rating if I'm able to do that. =)
