The movie really just wants to entertain people.

While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.

The cover caught my eye and so I picked this DVD out from a pile. It looked different and is obviously an independent title, not Hollywood. The story-line is actually quite interesting and the movie is a quirky combination of old school make up effects and early Sci-Fi CGI stuff. There are some idiosyncrasies you won't get in the mainstream Hollywood, such as vampires becoming zombie like. I laughed several times and can see the director tried hard with a B grade cast. It had a sad ending, but I kept the movie in my collection because its so different.

I recently saw this Australian Sci-Fi film and I was very surprised, just how good the story was, it was different from other Vampire movies that I had seen before. It didn't have the same clichés, and it was good to return to an old time when Vampire movies were great for the story. It reminded me of Hammer Horror classics with an Outer space twist.I was really comfortable watching it because these days we get so over whelmed by Hollywood razzle dazzle that the story suffers. I loved the character of Alexandra she was strong without all the sloppiness you might have expected.I give this movie a Big Thumbs up! I want to buy a hard copy of it on Amazon but it is not yet released?..

I love a quirky Sci-Fi movie with a bit of a twist. This movie started off well, then slowed down a bit for an off beat scene, then picked up again with great stuff that flowed through to the end. I'm not 100% sold on all the gore, but I really like the story and for an independent this feature seems to be a pretty good effort. There's some action and a dose of dark humour which makes for good entertainment. I loved the space battles in particular. There are some standout acting performances In this film. I loved the main Vampire, It reminded me of Bela Lugosi. A great find , great casting and very convincing makeup effects by the makeup crew, obviously They seem to have done their homework on this film. A very entertaining film.

Great movie, was really enjoyable. Must see movie loved the makeup Loved the costumes Great performance all round Loved the concept of Vampires form outer spaceI think this movie will set up bigger things for the producers. I would have loved the movie to be turned into a series. I was left wanting more and more. I particularly liked the lead characters interpretation of the main theme. Be great to see this movie on the big screen. Is it available in 3D. When is it going to be released on video? Are there any other movies coming up??. I recall the hobbit guy (Peter Jackson) making a similar start in the industry, this can only lead to bigger and better things for these guys. Well done
