Fallon is a gorgeous twenty-something with just a couple of flaws. For starters, she's dead. A close second, she has found herself in a new job serving as a soul huntress for an evil overlord. Fallon accepts her new role and quickly turns loose on humanity. Her sinister supervisor, Mr. Sixx, is greatly impressed. Over confident in his new student, he assigns Fallon to a forbidden case -- one that ignites terrible memories and turns her against him. Can faith and family survive an onslaught of soul-searing demons? What happens when Fallon discovers that her next target is someone that she greatly cares for?

Let's be realistic.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

In the beginning, Fallon (Gina Valona) is killed by a guy with a shotgun and her soul is taken by a certain Mr. Sixx (not the one who's in Mötley Crüe) because her father sold her soul to the devil. Fallon becomes a "Demonica", a demon killer who hunts souls for her boss. She has no memory of her previous life, but when Sixx sends her to collect her sister's soul (yes, daddy did it again), Fallon's memory returns and she decides to help her sister fight the demons. Support is given by Malachi (Jeff Swarthout), even though he seems to be only a drunk old man at first.Well, the title, the horror story and the stunning cover artwork of the DVD may disappoint some buyers insofar as this is not another "Underworld". "Darkworld" is a very low budget production shot in some neighbor's house instead of a studio, and the actors are basically using an opportunity to show their Halloween costumes. But if your expectations aren't too high and you think having fun is more important than a totally professional product, let me assure you I didn't regret spending my time watching this. "Darkworld" has some obvious enthusiasm for sick things which you only find in the movie netherworld.
