This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.

View MoreVery good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
View MoreEarly 60's, definitely not great, adventure film. A trio of adventurers go on a trek through jungle and desert to find a lost Inca city and a fabulous treasure. Of course there are good guys who want to preserve what they and bad guys who want to make a buck and are not above killing. Though the principle actors are American, they sound like their own voices were dubbed in. The hero's voice sound like another actor, maybe Robert Fuller from Wagon Train and Emergency. Not terrible, but even though the film is only about 71 minutes long the journey makes it seem longer. The film needs re-mastering. Since this is an obscure B film it is not likely to be restored. Recommended for fans of the genre.
View MoreI've never watched a movie that was so unremarkable. There's plenty of remarkable things in bad movies. Remarkable things in good movies. I gave this a "5" because it is so totally unremarkable. The screenplay is about as straight ahead as you can imagine. At 70 minutes it pretty much says what it's going to do and gets on with doing it. Very much 1962 production values. My print had washed out very badly. There must be some comment you can make on this one's merit...but I can't think of it.
