Yawn. Poorly Filmed Snooze Fest.

Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.

This is how you tell a story without throwing huge amounts of cash at it. The casting is superb, every actor clearly understands how real people behave and deliver dialogue. Only reason I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 is that it's a stand alone film and not a series or trilogy because I would have been front row on opening day of all the sequels. Perfect job by all concerned, a definite must see.

Budget and relatively short, it still manages to enthrall you as you want to see the plot unfold. We all know of a generic dull town in Britain quite like this. That and the laddish characters give it a certain setting that makes it even more realistic to me.Puts most hollywood films with million dollar budgets to shame.

Oh my word. Firstly I am stunned I have never heard or seen a clip of this before. I stumbled on a short scene of this on you tube and was intrigued from watching this morsel. I felt compelled to watch this straight away and was not disappointed. This is a low budget British film that falls into several categories, Revenge, darkly comic, Thriller cum horror. It is also a tale of loss and being lost and borders on the supernatural and mental illness. I was actually scared watching this and shocked to be honest. There is no finesse or pomp in its acting and the characters are mainly unpleasant .Paddy Consadines portrayal as Richard is up there with Ben Kingsleys Don Logan and Joe Pesci's Tommy DeVito and is thoroughly menacing. I highly recommend this.

If you grew up on an estate like the one in the movie then you will know exactly what goes on in this movie and why. American producers would have this with Den Washington or suchlike in the lead with Russian Baddies and big sets. But only Shane Meadows could give us a movie as good as this set in a little British City.Marvellously directed and Paddy gives a mesmerising performance as a guy who knows what he has to do and the price he has to pay.What made it for me is the so -called baddies were not really that bad,,,just living in a run down area where dog eats dog..then get eaten themselvesLove the way a lot of horrible things happen during normal everyday situations ..creeps me out every time.Interesting that its about a soldier too,,did he leave the army or was he kicked out??If u think the twist in 6th sense is good then just wait till you see this little cracker..it came from nowhere. British at it's low budget best!!
