Plot so thin, it passes unnoticed.

It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

Entertainment That SatisfiesI usually bore within the first 15 minutes of most movies from most genres , no doubt a by- product of being a movie addict. While I am always hopeful to be entertained, I am usually left wanting more -- like when you can't have that last bite of your ice cream cone. But in this case, Deadline left me satiated. In fact, I was annoyed that I wasn't able to stop watching in order to catch up on my paperwork as I often do while watching movies. Deadline fixated my whole attention span from start to finish. It was a bizarre, thought- provoking and very entertaining movie. To box it only into a single 'horror' genre is almost negligent. Deadline also delivers solid elements of: crime drama, suspense thriller, social commentaries regarding the homeless, drug lords/terrorists, prostitution, police corruption, drug addiction, animal rights, all interlaced within sexy romantic interludes and very cool special effects.I couldn't even accurately describe this movie to my friends so I simply told them to watch it. I promised that Deadline would deliver full entertainment value. To me, 'entertainment' should be the core objective of any movie. An entertaining movie can skillfully transport you into another world so that you don't even remember that you have work to finish, bills to pay, and worries to stress over. Truly entertaining movies offer us the relief and freedom from our everyday lives and worries --- and I believe most of us need and appreciate that. When a movie can offer me the level of escapism that stimulates my brain and generates endorphins, I not only get that last bite of the ice cream cone, I get the whole enchilada!

Deadline was a climatic gripping story that appeals to anyone Who like scary movies. Although it is a low budget film it defiantly wasn't perceived like one. The location, actors, story line and action packed scenes, we all directed perfectly to a T. The house of the film really complimented all of the scenes that were required to make you jump. The characters did a fantastic job with acting out their roles. In many horror movies many scenes are predictable but in Deadline most of the scenes were unpredictable, causing you to jump from your seat. This is the best low budgeted film I have ever watched, if you're looking for a movie that will give you goose bumps, keep you on your toes, with action packed scenes and wanting more, then watch Deadline its the movie for you. Honestly I cannot describe how good this movie was, whether you like scary movies or not Deadline is the must see movie of the low budgeted film. Chris Tasara, the director of Deadline did a fantastic job with picking the perfect actors and actresses for their parts. Chris Tasara did an amazing job with taking what he had for his script and putting it in a movie. His use of different angles and special effects really pulled the movie together. The dramatic and climatic scenes gave the real essence of a horror movie. The music he added to the movie added the final touch to the amazing movie called Deadline.

This film just came out on video on demand. I always check films on web sites before deciding whether to watch it. IMDb is probably the site I check the most. When I saw that this film had a 7.0 rating with more than a couple of people who rated it and the user and critical reviews(except for one) were positive, my decision was made. It also won awards at several film festivals.Unfortunately, I have to agree with the one negative review and assume the people involved with this film had many friends willing to rate it very high. It has the look of a low quality film. The story telling is way below par as is the direction. The acting is amateurish and there is nothing I would recommend here. It cannot make up its mind what kind of film it is - a ghost story or one about corrupt cops? I am sure it will attract an audience based on the rating, however I would fully expect this rating to go way down as more legitimate viewers watch this mess.

DeadLine had a lot of creativity, and had me at the edge of my seat. I thought Chris Tasara did a solid job directing each moment perfectly. The locations were gorgeous, and the cast was great. The tiger from "The Hangover" was scary as hell! This movie clearly has great production value. DeadLine has a very gripping, and thrilling story line. There was an amazing amount of mystery, and I feel as though this movie is now set up for an even better sequel. Suspense, Drama, and Action = DeadLine. This movie could be watched with "the guys" and "the girls." Excited to see what this brilliant writer/director has in-store for us next.
