I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

The acting in this movie is really good.

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

This film is tragic and a little funny at times. The sad part is to watch this young, handsome, and very likable guy spiral into oblivion. He looks like a cross between Jeff Brides as The Dude in The Big Lebowski and Nicolas Cage as Ben Sanderson in Leaving Las Vegas. What I saw as funny was how Mark would look right in the camera after having maybe 2 days of sobriety and say "I am done bro. I'm never going to drink again." And before the sun goes down he's arrested for being drunk in public.My prayers to him and people like him. friend of Bill W.
