An Exercise In Nonsense
It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.
View MoreIt’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
View MoreI didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
View MoreRod Steele is an over aged actor who has been replaced by someone else to play a James Bond type agent in the movies. Reminds you of Pierce Brosnan doesn't it? He talks in a crude mimic of Sean Connery and gets his jollies going on secret missions where he interrupts his victim in the midst of passionate sex while wearing his black tuxedo. I suppose if you're oversexed, you'll find yourself reversed sitting through this junk because unlike other Emmanuelle comedy plots the humor subtracts from an erotic mood instead of adding to it. Fans of the series should know by now that the made for cable shows are running out of material for new sequels after dozens have already seen late night play on Cinemax or Showtime. I recommend you stick with serious films produced for home video or selected mature video stores. Allie Haze in the title role of Emmanuelle only makes you wish she'd go back to hardcore adult where she just gets down to doing stuff.
