This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

EXORCISM OF THE 7TH DEMON is a rubbishy little EXORCIST clone with very little to recommend it. It's an extremely low budget indie film that means that most things about the movie are below par. The story is about a demon hunter getting involved with a girl who turns into the usual demon that looks just like Regan in THE EXORCIST, complete with the same kind of voice distortion. You'd have thought that EXORCIST rip-offs expired back in the mid 1970s so it's a surprise to see they're still being made. Otherwise, the usual round of very bad acting, story padding, and no real coherence in the storyline makes this a typical indie.

Michael (Jason Howell) has a daughter Sasha who kills herself due to demonic possession. Wife leaves him. Michael drugs and kidnaps Lana (Brandy Reign) who he meets at a bar and believes is also possessed. Neighbors, wife, demons, priest, woman with a bad Eastern European accent fill out this tale. Many times bad movies have a great opening scene. This one didn't even try. You can tell in the first few minutes this was going to be a stinker. No one can act. The dialogue was so bad even the actress claimed it didn't make any sense. I did like the sound track, however when you play metal swagger music while Michael is walking into his house, he needs some swagger and not look like his butt is dragging. This is the third John Reign film I have seen. He likes to do religious horror films, has the misconception his daughter can act, and thinks he is Hitchcock with the cameos. I suggest their friends are enablers, telling them how good they are. I know this is the worst of the three films I have seen and I am bit foggy on the other two.The film opens with a bunch of quotes and scenes of serial killers....and Hitler. It only tied in generically.. I was hoping we would see the coming of A-Bad-Don...oh wait we have seen that on Fox.Guide: No sex or nudity. Minor swearing, s-word, SOB, etc.Mostly so bad it is bad until Martina shows up near the end then it is so bad it is good for about 5 minutes. Her accent is a howl.2017 Winner of the best horror at ....just joking
