Boring, over-political, tech fuzed mess
I was totally surprised at how great this film. You could feel your paranoia rise as the film went on and as you gradually learned the details of the real situation.
View MoreTells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
View MoreThe movie really just wants to entertain people.
Fever Pitch(2005) Starring: Drew Barrymore, Jimmy Fallon, Lenny Clarke, Jessamy Finet, Miranda Black, Brett Murphy, and Johnny Seed Directed By: Bobby Farrelly and Peter Farrelly Review A Comedy About The Game of Love. I saw like the first thirty minutes of this movie early last year and since then I have been wanting to finish it and today I gladly did. This is a comedy that makes me think of myself again. We all have one thing were very passionate about. IN this film theirs Ben who has been a passionate Red Socks fan since he was eleven, he goes to practice games, does drafts of who's going to what game with him, and never misses a game. But he has to try and balance his commitment to the game and Lindsy. This film is based of a novel actually and that surprised me, I feel like reading the book now, when I look at Jimmy Fallons character in this movie I see me, because he's a romantic and he's like an expert on his passion among him and his friends, his being the Red Socks, mine being movies/films. It's humor is played out through funny situations with Ben and Lindsey, when it comes to Lindseys job and Bens love for the Red socks. I don't know how close it was to its source material but it was a joy to watch. I give Fever Pitch a four out of five.
View MoreThis is the type of movie that give you good feeling after you watch and while you watching it. The film idea is unique, I mean combining a guys love for a girl and sports in a single script is something which cant be thought of but director of the movie did and with toppings of excellent performances and funny one liners, they have made an excellent movie to watch. Performances of actors is amazing especially Fallon's. Drew Barrymore was looking cute as always and with her Innocent looks, she was a perfect fit for the role. Above all, movie also gives you an important message..you need to have some passion in Ur life other than Ur work and you should also not be overly crazy about it.
View MoreFever Pitch is a typical romantic comedy movie but I liked it very much. This movie "shows what obsessions or deep passions can do to a relationship when both partners don't share the same thing or at least at the same level". It is very entertaining , cute, sweet, and has some funny moments. There isn't anything really special about this film.. In my opinion, it is a movie to see with your girlfriend or boyfriend but no with friends because it is more romantic than funny, but it is a good option to spend a good time!. The main characters are Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore, two brilliant actors.
View MoreSchoolteacher in Boston has never had a long-term relationship with a woman; his new girlfriend, a savvy-but-single businesswoman, wonders why even after seeing his apartment, which looks like a gift shop full of Boston Red Sox memorabilia. Turns out he's a no-holds-barred fanatic for the team, which at first pleases his squeeze but eventually becomes a thorn in her side. Nice, congenial date movie with baseball overtures doesn't aspire to outrageousness like much of the rest of the Farrelly Brothers' output. Trouble is, it doesn't aspire to be much of anything else, either--just a pleasant whiff of an idea. There are laughs scattered throughout, though the semi-serious tone of the last act doesn't work too well (and the leads, Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon, lose all credibility feigning heartache). The characters are basically selfish grown-up children who can't think for themselves; directors Bobby and Peter Farrelly do their damnedest to lighten the load by turning their worlds into recognizable clichés, something "we can all relate to". There's nothing wrong with an all-out commercial feature, and one with a killer baseball/"Sweet Caroline" montage, yet the picture fades from memory before the credits are even off the screen. **1/2 from ****
