It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

Geniusly written, well played and original. A must watch! Very recognizable as well for grown ups with divorced parents who have a certain 'type' of stepmother ;-).

I love it. It kinda reminds me of Smilf. It's very funny and entertaining and just showing the real thoughts of a woman. Showing her struggles. This show is really good and I hope it gets a reboot! I'm a black male and I love this show.

But as I knew that an IMDb review was on the way I felt obligated to give it time to unfold. I made it for less than five minutes. This isn't a comedy. It's the diary of a bitter, 21st-century narcissist, who thinks people want to know about her 'feelings' and opinions. If you really want a warm, funny and brilliant look at the absurd life that women face, look at the incredible genius of 'Miranda' starring the genius, Miranda Hart. Now THAT'S comedy.It looks like a few people involved with the show all submitted their fictional accounts of the show for the IMDb reviews section... all suspiciously at the same time, too! Wink wink! But don't be fooled. There's a reason that you haven't heard of this before!If you're still undecided then consider this: The progressive cartoon 'The Guardian' called it "Hilarious!" and all their readers agreed! You've been warned!Men - this could save you hundreds of thousands of pounds if you watch this and you're thinking of getting married!

I thought this would just be another banal BBC3 comedy - I give them all a go because there have been some gems. I wasn't too taken with the first or second episodes - they were more interesting than funny. The actress who plays the main character is brilliant, but it does take a little while to get used to breaking the third wall in all sorts of awkward moments. By the fourth episode, because of the character development, I started to find it very funny - hilarious at times. It is odd, but I do think you need to know the characters in this to find the humour and also to feel the dramatic parts as well.By the end, I have to say that this is the best new comedy I have seen in a long while.Overall, brilliantly cast, brilliantly acted and very enjoyable to watch.
