Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.

I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

Most of the claims in this documentary are false, and some are down right dangerous! (You CANT eat as many vitamin supplements as you like, you can overdose and get adverse side effects, get your vitamins from fruit and veg and they're completely safe though) The 'experts' in this clearly have no idea what they're talking. It's a shame because healthy eating is an important message, but they've warped this message so much. Eating a plant based diet is incredibly good for, especially making your own food instead of eating processed food, but most of the 'science' in this is completely false. And vitamins are good for you, eat as many as you can, but in the form of fruit and vegetables! This is in no way dangerous and the best way to uptake vitamins.

This film could save your life or that of a loved one and is a definite must watch. It aligns with my experiences in eating. That is the more quality fresh food that you eat and this next bit is my own take "by eating less or smaller portions" the better you will feel. Life extensionists will attest to the eating less formula. The broad picture is nothing any of us don't already know essentially that eating healthy will make you healthy. You are what you eat! The film explores high dosages of nutrients in combating cancer and that this methodology has proved successful. Watch the film to catch reference to studies. After watching this ANYONE who has loved one(s) who are sick and dying of cancer will be searching furiously for the studies that show nutrition supplementation AND a wholesale change in lifestyle and diet might just be what can save their life. How the medical industry calculates "cancer survivors" which is another scam pushed on to the public is also covered, as is the excellent discussion on the disease industry which is more about needing sick people to care and prescribe drugs to rather than preventing illness.

Food Matters was a very intriguing and interesting documentary. It gave me an additional viewpoint on the development of modern medicine. Most Americans have no idea what's behind the scenes in this field, but this documentary uncovered some of the mystery. The health experts that were featured in the documentary gave an insight on many controversial issues such as cancer, vitamins, and the lack of nutrition knowledge in today's medical field. I personally enjoyed hearing about how organic methods are rarely considered when treating an illness or disease. The health experts gave us specific cases in history that retained to organic methods of healing being more beneficial than the "pill for an ill" approach that medical doctors are being trained to apply in their practices in today's society. It really opened my eyes hearing about how major medical industries are hiding the fact that vitamins and organics can be just as effective in body system healing as the medicinal methods. The health experts produced facts and statistics that proved this and it made me want to look more into the motivation of modern medical industries. In this documentary, the health experts repeatedly told their viewers how today's medical industry is very money driven. It is almost like they value the money over the actual health and well- being of the population. I was bewildered to hear that most medical schools do not thoroughly teach nutrition to their students, and this was said to be a big problem. It is a huge problem because the root of a lot of current illnesses and diseases lie in what the patient's daily diet consists of. I am a strong believer that a healthy, well-balanced diet is detrimental to stay healthy and active, so hearing this small fact from the documentary was no shock to me. In all, this documentary was very insightful and I recommend it for anyone interested in delving deeper into today's medical motivation's and uncovering how Orthomolecular medicine can impact the population in a beneficial way.

I am in the natural health field, so I KNOW there is a HUGE difference between what is taught in the medical nutrition classes and what is taught in the natural nutrition classes. Now, colleges do not label their nutrition classes to be "medical nutrition", it just simply says "nutrition". But, I have taken nutrition in college and 50% of the information I heard was false, but I kept my mouth shut because the teacher is only teaching what SHE learned from HER medical nutrition teacher. So yes, the reviewer above thinks the documentary is propaganda just because they are basing it off what their personal knowledge is from the college they've been to. Trust me, my nutrition class talked about diet and vitamins, but it was so nonsensical that I couldn't believe that all the "to be" nurses in the class were buying to the information. Go to a holistic center (a REAL holistic center, not the medical ones trying to cover their ass and still receive money) and take a real course. Or even, if you are Christian read the BIBLE, and it will tell you to eat RAW fruits and vegetables and it will discuss that the people were vegan and vegetarian until the flood came and wiped out the vegetation, and only then did they begin to eat meat. This documentary is trying to bring you the truth. Why? Because they want YOU to be your own doctor, and they want YOU to do your own research, and not listen to everything you hear from your doctor. If that includes researching information you hear in this documentary SO BE IT! Do the research before you make your conclusions. Now, my naturopathic teacher who taught me had a story. Her mother was dying in the hospital, and her doctor was trying to save her life with medication. My teacher had a book of medication and how they can interfere with each other, so when the doctor tried to recommend a new medication my teacher looked it up in the book and said, "It says here that these two medications can cause death". So the doctor took the book and started looking up what medication would be appropriate for her mother. Nothing saved her life of course, but the end of the story turns out like this: This medical doctor took a course with my NATUROPATHIC doctor, and told her "thank you so much. Working every day in the health field, you begin to lose sight of what is important. After many years of working here, I forgot how the body actually worked." So, if a medical doctor isn't told the absolute truth about vitamins or diet, and then loses sight of the REAL function of the body... What do you expect to happen to our people? If you are in the medical health field, do yourself a favor and don't bother watching this documentary. The medical field is not willing to compromise, and neither is the natural field. There really is no harmony between these dividing divisions. So, for those of you in the middle here, just watch the documentary and research the information for yourself. Don't strictly go by what the other reviewer said, and don't strictly go by what I say. YOU are your own doctor; YOU need to be responsible for YOUR OWN health; YOU need to do the research.
