I saw this movie before reading any reviews, and I thought it was very funny. I was very surprised to see the overwhelmingly negative reviews this film received from critics.

Just intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in terms of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?

It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

Whoa, a few misses away from being a near gem. The best way to go into this film is to know absolutely nothing about it, like I did. The film starts off as one thing, then becomes a slightly different but immensely better thing - but then goes overboard and throws the film into eye rolling terrain. But whatever, still an enjoyable experience.

...Captivated me from the roll of the apple; and kept me to the end. Some hyperbole and some guff on these reviews - a '1' being spectacularly unwarranted (Witness that particular reviewers '10s'...Big Hero 6, Batman etc) This is 'one of those' - a delightful multi-faceted gem that should be enjoyed.Christians review "Most Intelligent Philosophical Sci-Fi I Have Seen This Millennium" says it all, so I'm not repeating it ;)Of particular note is the cast; no one (to me at least) famous, that is to say, no one that came with any expectations - but all captivating and a joy to behold.

Some movies require you to take the "reviewers rule book" and toss it.This is one of them. The writer/director Darren Paul Fisher appears to be one of those rare auteurs who releases a work every four or five years and then disappears or hibernates or goes back to his home planet. This is an extraordinary film. Even now I not sure if this is a love story sugar-coated with one of the most complex metaphysical scripts of all time, or a metaphysical script grounded in a wonderfully odd love story. However, as one of the main characters quips in the very last scene, "Does it even matter?" The film is mesmerizing and engaging and challenging. It makes the MATRIX look like a Bugs Bunny cartoon. The scenes in the present with the adult cast are perfect and flawless, but the flashbacks with the child actors are beyond even that, they are hypnotic.A great film by a gifted auteur. Memorable. Enjoyable. Astonishing.Highly recommended

Well, I do not know what I had in mind when I started watching this movie. The starting was not bad. Then from the middle, I do not know where the story went from where and how this marvelous(!) plot holds. I wasted my time watching this brilliantly(!) constructed piece of art. I do not want that others should share the same luck. That's why I got up from my bed and started to write this thoughtful(!) review. You get a picture of my mind after watching this nice(!) movie form what I am writing!!!A pure genius(!) wrote this script, no doubt. I do not believe that it would run half its time if it did not show the same scenes, repeatedly.Only good thing about this movie, it was just not boring enough that I would cross my threshold of patience, and throw away my monitor. It was just boring enough to fall in love with the director, yes!!!Well, I hope this review gets published. Long live frequencies!!!
