Pretty Good
How sad is this?
There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes
View MoreStrong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
View MoreI heard Harry's former band mate's tune on the radio. It was Ed Sheehan like, acoustic and folk sounding. So I gave this one a try. Lyric wise, the songs are lacking. They're mostly repetitive and actually quite childish (i.e., continuous yelling "I'm having your baby"). Harry doesn't have a bad voice, but makes lots of contrived facial features when he's singing. He's straining his vocal chords. He's not quite the legendary artist he believes himself to be. This film shows him to be a little full of himself. Vocally and lyrically, he is not there yet.
