What a waste of my time!!!
Your blood may run cold, but you now find yourself pinioned to the story.
View MoreAmazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
View MoreThe movie really just wants to entertain people.
I felt the same about all 3 movies really. I'd say my least favorite was the first, then this one. All pretty close though. I did come up with a few problems that I had with this movie as well.1. Championship is being played on their home court again.2. They won back to back championships on buzzer beating 2 pointers to win by 1. That seems realistic.3. Why does Sharpay all of a sudden have a double locker? 4. How does Sharpay go from bad person to good person to bad person to good person to bad person again.5. Why is every show this school does a musical? Wouldn't they do a normal play every now and then? 6. Troy has performed in 1 school performance up to the start of this movie, yet somehow he's one of the people with a chance for a scholarship at a school as amazing as Juilliard.7. There is no way Troy would learn to Waltz that quickly.8. What is with these movies and having sprinklers/rain fall on Gabriella and Troy? 9. Would you really chase someone who has your clothes around the whole school if you only had a towel on? 10. How rude does a person have to be to say an invitation wasn't good enough? 11. Troy gets white paint on his hands from the fence, but Gabriella doesn't. They both grabbed it in the same area.12. How does a truck with as many problems as Troy's drive 1053 miles to Stanford and back? 13. What is up with this movie having so many songs repeated? 14. It was said that the show was 2 days after prom. Troy went to Stanford on the day of the prom. If they wanted to get back in time for the show, they could have because they obviously had more than 24 hours to get back.15. Even if U of A was a real school, it would most likely not be D1, and it would be almost impossible for them to be on Cal's schedule.16. From experience, the valedictorian usually wears something special to distinguish them from the rest at graduation. Gabriella was valedictorian, but wore nothing special.17. The choreography for these movies were usually pretty good, but a good part of the final song in this movie looked like a round of the harlem shake. Maybe it's because they have the baggy graduation gowns on.About the same amount of problems I had as the other two, so yea, all 3 movies fairly equal in how much I liked them.I just have to add this. When Gabriella yells Troy in the opening song, it sounds like Wes from Emblem3 singing Chloe.
View MoreI was about 5 or 6 when I watched the movie and I remember telling my mom that the movie - ''was awesome.'' But now, when I look back on it I realize that the movie was kinda 🌽Y. Good actors were chosen for the right roles. I feel the actors really worked well with their characters. The relationships were not fake and not strained. But, I reiterate that everything fell into place too easily. The songs, for me, were the best part of the movie. They were catchy, fun and suited the movie well. The movie failed to appeal to it's target audience of teens but captured the attention of 4-8 year olds. I'm happy to say that they didn't drag the series out.
View MoreAnybody who believes that a Disney movie is going to have great acting skills needs to wake up. The same thing needs to be said for those who think that they will be serious or believable. Disney thrives on the imagination, so for those who don't like this movie because people don't just break out into song in real life, welcome to the world of Disney. That being said, I enjoyed this movie immensely. It is a step up from the original two. The only reason why it got a lower rating was that more people went and saw it, and they didn't like it for reasons posted above. The acting is decent enough, despite what I mentioned above. Corbin and Monique are good as the two lovebirds who are there for our main characters. Ashley is just as evil as ever, and Lucas knows how to dance and have a good time. And let's not forget our lead actors; Zac and Vanessa aren't the best actors today, but they seem to be having a great time together here; it really is a shame that they are broken up now. However, if anything, you are here to see the musical numbers. This is where HSM 3 is a step up from the first two. Because it's a big-screen movie unlike the first two, the musical numbers have to be bigger and better, and bigger and better they are. You've got the great chorus numbers, "Now or Never," "I Want it All," "A Night to Remember," the show itself, a graduation rendition of "We're all in this together," and, of course, a song called "High School Musical;" then you've got the softer songs called "Right Here, Right Now," "Can I Have this Dance" (which is the best love song between Troyella out of the series), "I Just Wanna be with You," "The Boys are Back," "Walk Away," and "Scream." All the songs are much catchier than the ones from the first two, and they are the movie's highlights. All in all, check your brain at the door and just sit and have a good time. That's what this movie is about. If you go in thinking that the actors are going to receive academy awards, with a movie that takes itself seriously, then you are setting yourself up for failure. Everybody should know this. A 9/10 for me.
View MoreThis is the most greatest movie (musical) of all... it's like Greece but, more to our century. They are not professional dancers, but, they dance like pro's. Maybe because they practice to make this movie more love-able. so, people who wrote bad comments don't really appreciate their hard work for three whole years! That's why they deserve to be complimented!!! So, people who NEVER watch this show have got to go watch it!! I will recommend it to anyone who is already boring with our genre of songs nowadays. Mostly pop and tech-no. Soo common. Now, try one of classics songs. And, enjoy some laughter with Sharpay and Ryan's songs.
